Richard achieves a SWPP Gold award

The SWPP (The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers - see link) has a monthly image competition amongst it's members both in the UK and abroard covering a large array of catergories from Sport to Press to Pets etc.
I am very honoured to have been presented with a Gold award for January 2008 for my entry into the Glamour catergory.
Glamour photography takes many forms and the main image that springs to most people's mind is that of "page 3". I prefer the more subtle side of glamour photography and the ethos of "less is more". The glamour images that will be posted on this site are examples of my personal projects - some of the subjects of which are not professional models but normal everyday people. However following my award I have decided to undertake a number of projects soon with a view to offering a Glamour shoot service as part of my folio. In the meantime if anyone out there wants to be a subject for a trial run at a heavily discounted rate feel free to get in touch.
